Tendering and Procurement

Every project large or small requires effective and efficient procurement of materials and services if it is to be on time, on budget and meet the customer's standard of quality. This is H&R's bread and butter. We simply do this better than the rest.

H&R will, with the design team, develop the trade tender packages to meet the on-site construction schedule requirements. We will prepare the front-end documentation and tender forms for all the trade tenders to the specific requirements of each project and pre-qualify only performance proven and financially strong trade contractors to bid on and construction the work.

It is our typical policy to include no fewer than three and normally to a maximum of six trade contractors for every package. The bids can be opened together with the owner, architect. We will conduct a thorough analysis of the bids and make a recommendation for award.

Our firm's extensive buying power based on the large volume of work it purchases in the
marketplace enables us to command volume discounts. We have the ability through strong relationships to ensure that trade contractors are deeply committed to this project. Our staff will use this influence in a professional manner to the advantage of our clients. This is a particular advantage in an overheated marketplace where there are severe shortage of material, trade people and qualified trade contractors.
